Hello ladies and gents. I was looking at the throttle body and I noticed that the cable has about a 1/4" or 1/2" slack. Is this right or should I eliminate the slack.? thanks in advance:confused:

It shouldn't be tight, but a half inch of slack sounds like too much. It's pretty easy to tighten it up.

It should have a bit of slack, but a half inch is WAY too much. A couple millimeters at best. What I usually d is take off the bolt that goes through teh middle of the throttle body cable bracket, and rotate the whole device forward until you have hte desired amount of slack. I need to go look at my KA and make sure this is possible, but it usually is, I've donne it on several cars.
