threadsize of the drain plug on SR20??

Anybody knwo what it is??I can't seem to find anything.Also if you know the size of the drain plug in the 5speed.

I am going to get some temp gauges, but dont know if I have to drop the pan, or use the drain plug one that they make.

drain plug should be the same as other nissans. i dont know it offhand. for oil temp i used the nissport adaptor. http://www.nissport.comif i did it again i would just drill and tap the pan as the nissport is a big funky thing that does not fit well under the sr intake manifold. oh well, it was not made for rwd sr's.

the drain plug in the 5 speed is like $6 from the dealer... the drainplug should be the same as the fwd sr

I don't want a drain plug. I want to know what the threadsize is so that I can replace it with a temp sender. that way I won't have to tap the pan/trans.:thinker

umm im pretty sure most senders are tiny compared to a drain plug

u must be thinking autometer ones. I dont use autometer. and they do have ones that are drain plug senders. just got to know the threadsize to get the right sender.

the 5speed plug should be the same as the regular 240sx plug as they use the same trans(ka24de and sr20de(t)).
