I remember a similar post a few months back... seemed like there were some differences of opinion on how well this works... check out this thread and see what other people said... I don't personally have any experience in this arena.

Doesn't seem worth the potential problems that might occur with the charging and other systems. I'm not a fan of underdrive pullies.

If you really want more HP, put that 100 bucks towards F/I instead of nickle and dime mods.

people talked about this at length

i'd say, if you dont have an aftermarket stereo, then you should go for it

especially given the climate you live it, its not like you are powering that A/C year-round.

Its the brand Chad recommends and look to be a great price.

I'd do it if i didnt have a massive stereo/video setup in my G

I recently purchased a used K&N intake on ebay for a fraction of the new cost. And am very happy with it. This guy looks like he has good feed back. I would do it if I were in the market.

I don't mean to be a PITA SVT, but intakes don't really wear. Pulleys do.

I would just save up for a non-underdrive setup. Another $150= peace of mind.

That defroster you're running in the winter...that's the A/C you're using.

I think you'd have no problems with the pulley itself, you may want to look into new belts once you get it though.

I'm curious, how does a pulley wear out?

Actually, I'm a hunter, so I don't agree with PETA.....

And, I disagree with you on this issue as well.

I guess I should have been a little more specific.

The bearings can wear. Also, the pulley has to move, a slight dent/scratch on an intake isn't going to cause any sort of engine damage.

I've been very tempted to use my airsoft gun on the local cats. The stupid homeowners in my area don't believe in fixing their felines so they multiply like wildflowers.

I wouldn't mind except they walk through the mud and then hop onto my G and leave little muddy paw prints up and down my windows. I did a little CSI on one set of prints and got a kick out of it, because it looked like the cat lost traction on the way up the window and slid down then decided to jump.

can't stand neighborhood cats!!! I let my dogs loose on them if I see them. I have no problem defending a G with an airsoft or 12 gauge!!!

true the bearings can go out on a pulley, but the likelihood of someone who has had them on their 350z and upgrading to a SC seems like its a go IMO.

Very aware of this, but do you run your Defrost the whole winter? My guess is just for a little while, til temps get regulated. I'm comparing it to Phoenix, where i live in the summer. You run the A/C 100% of the time because its so damn hot outside.

New belts are a must. Write down the size of them so you don't have to guess in the future as well.

I don't, but some people do...I was just saying though.

And I just read your avatar...it makes me laugh because my friends and I used to have a complete point system for different types of people because here people just like to cross the road whenever they want to.

Hold it there - a 12 gauge could damage the G - unless your talking slugs and you can hit what your aiming at...
