Just musing guys. How long does it take your TPMS display to come on after cold start? Mine takes less that 500 yards or between two and three minutes. The front right seems more problematic, however, as it takes a more extended coverage in space and time to get displayed.

About 1 minute to 90 seconds. Occasionally one station will take longer. My M is an '06. I replaced one recently due to the metal valve cap corroding onto the stem from the chemicals used on the road; untwisting it took out the whole stem!! Lesson: use plastic caps for winter. The rest should begin conking out here soon.

Uhm, good one on the use of plastic caps. I have no fear of the winter though;I'm in the tropics.
