Price can probably be knocked down a little more. $1k, for example.

Nice style wheel. But I'd discount the snot out of them with that rash. I'd offer $750. Then work up. That rim can be repaired. But how much compared to a full replacement wheel? Plus I prefer a staggered set myself

I am thinking 200 to fix.. I think the wheel goes for 2500 for a single wheel.

as for staggered. I love the look. but rotating is a PITA thus why I am staying away from that.

So how would 20X10's all the way around work meaning gas mileage or actually driving down the road? also my car is the "X" ??

He's saying you can go wider than 20x9.5 and go with 20x10. You're an AWD so it's recommended to go 'square' but many have gone staggered...as long as your rotating diameter or whatever is the same then you'll be fine.

As for $2,500 for a single wheel...I don't think that's right. Stillen, IIRC, sells a new set of Vossens for like $4k...max $5k.

Got ya. However but what I am asking is if going 20x10 all the way around have any drawbacks? Performance, mileage the way it tracks down the road etc???

You just want to go with a 255 35 20 or 275 35 20. The 275's are the exact same diameter as the factory 245 40 20.

That should keep your speedo correct. Deviating from the stock tires is what throws your speedo off.

The wheels are sweet but for that piece there maybe better/more options.

Well, you will have lower profile tires which means you will feel the road more...including bumps and potholes. As for mileage, that doesn't depend on the size, it depends on the weight. If your OEM wheel (example) is 25LB each and you can find super expensive race wheels that are 20LB each...even though they are 2" bigger, you're still losing weight so you'll gain gas mileage. The other consideration is tire weight it self...usually bigger tires weigh more. So in the end, even if you buy lighter wheels, you might end up with heavier tires so you'll break even.

Generally, going +1 or +2 on size, you don't really see a noticeable drop or gain in MPG.

You WILL see a difference in the ride though...depending on what size you go with. I live in NY...pot hole capital of the East Coast. It sucks sometimes but I'd rather my car look good and me look like I'm driving drunk (avoiding pot holes) than ride on goofy lookin 18's.

Going staggered vs square on an AWD car is not JUST about the speedo...if you throw the diameter off, you will seriously mess with your AWD computer and the car will do all sorts of crazy crap. Dash will look like a christmas tree, etc. The speedo is a secondary, but legitimate, concern after the first part has been handled. There are sites out there which will tell you which tires match the OEM sizes and give the same speed.

Appreciate the input - Staggered is not in my purview. So that is off the table. Heck it was never on the table. :) Not only that (as mentioned earlier) tire rotation is a pain.

I want have same size going around I thought taking off my 18"s and going 20"s would "look" more bad a$$. Then the other discussion point was what if I went 20X10 all the way around what would be the drawback (if any).

So who knows if I dont find what I need for a fair price I just may stick with 18's and get new tires.. but I would like it to be a bit more "bad a$$" if possible thus the 20's however the 20 OEM are big dollar and I dont want to go the cheaper route with the gunmetal gray. I "think" it is too dark for my car (platinum liquid silver) or whatever the OEM name is.. ;)

Assuming you're in NC/SC (based on the craiglist ad), you should be okay going with 20's. It won't be that bad a ride. I'm considering moving to Charlotte down the road and the roads down there are FAR better than the roads up here in the Brokeeast (aka Northeast).

I say go for 20's.

I'm running 20x9 +35's at all four corners with 245/40/20 tires. Fit's real well, see my build thread in my signature or this post:

@Iilya - nice wheels indeed and thanks for your setup info, I think you answered a ton of questions with that post.. ;) I love the wheels as well. I have to ask, how much you pay for em? And where did you procure them? I may "copy" that setup on my m37x

Yes I am in NC in the Raleigh area. Charlotte is about 2 hours away. I used to live in Cleveland so I didn't want to invest in the wheels then or have to keep two sets so the "summer" ones don't get pitted up in the winter.

p.s. I see you are a biker as well -

I got them direct from Incurve but they are discontinued and were going for a super low price. I think like $1,200 for the set, brand new. I've since lost a cap (stupid design which they've now changed I guess) and my best man curbed my wheel during my wedding...but for the price it is what it is. I'll get a new set in a year or two.

Yes, I've owned two 2013 Ninja 300's, a 2013 Ninja ZX6R and now I have 2015 Vulcan S.

Those are nice to, I thought you were going a square set so the sizes I gave you were all the way around.

Get what makes you feel good. If your car is a sport model then more looking is involved if not there are so many options.

I saw a guy with FX45 wheels on the M it actually looked nice.

Pete just an FYI, your DropBox signature link is broken. Please re-upload your image with a service like TinyPic or IMGUR and use that link. DropBox is notoriously bad at shared links on public forums.
