These are my personal thoughts on this amazing vehicle....

After been driving and having it for more than a month, I feel that Infiniti did a amazing job on this vehicle however it could have been improved in the following areas;

1. Probably Thinner Wood Steering Wheel integrated with the existing controls. (Similar to LX570)
2. An enhanced system that calculates the fuel vs Milege based on driving conditions. I saw a drop of 15 miles just in the spare of 5 minutes on a normal driving condition recently.
3. Forward Sliding Captains seat which will provide an oppurtunity for the 3rd row folks to have more leg room if necessary. I am already thinking about a design which would work... just wish I knew how to do it myself .. (Maybe West Coast Customs :yesnod )

These are my only 3 concerns... apart from that this truck is everything I need. Go Infiniti!!

Pics please?

Welcome aboard! Bex and I spent quite a bit of time inspecting a new QX yesterday.... I'd LOVE to take one on a road trip!

Only thing I saw that I didn't like: Plastic "treads" on the running boards. Those are gonna look like crap in about 6 months... hopefully they're cheap to replace.

Other than that, I was VERY impressed with it.

I must say, I am very pleased with my 2011 QX. 3700 miles so far!

If I'm being picky, two things I'd change: 1) Larger side mirrors. I know many prefer form over function, but for a vehicle this size, those mirrors could stand to be a little bigger. 2) The hydraulic center console lid. I wish I could lock that thing it - I hate it when I'm using it as an arm rest, come to a stop and it slides forward.

Also, with all the technology this thing has, would it kill Infiniti to show why you have a SES light on? You know, show me the code in the odometer like my Dodge does or use that info screen to tell in detail me that it's just my gas cap.

Don't let those things dissuade you though, the 400hp more than makes up for it :dblthumb:

Instead of allowing it to slide, they should leave it fixed. Personally I was never a fan of the sliding arm rests.
