Hey Guys , was thinking on buying a 2000 Alti gxe with 79K original miles for my daughter and wanted to find out from the people who actually has one and drives it on a daily basis the pros and cons, what i should look at before buying, etc. Please chime in with your thoughts as I will be looking at the car and driving it tomorrow (Saturday 8/4).

I have one..I treat it like crap and it still runs like a champ at 202k.

I am look at buying one possibly (other choices notwithstanding), a '99 with 160k miles, 5 spd. Owner says he replaced the clutch and is otherwise running great.

I am familiar with bad power window issues, O2 sensors etc. on most Nissans. Anything in particular to watch out for in these? Oil leaks? transmission slipping? I'm ok with having to spend $500-$800 if I can keep it going for another 15-20k miles before selling it off.
