iv gone to a few drift events with my ca just want to know if any of u guys drift with a ca andif the motors holds up well for drifting

One of the best amatuer drifter vids I have ever seen was a STOCK FUEL SYSTEM CA18DET from the UK. 250bhp @ 1bar. The guy was crazy good.

But like stated, it is all in the driver, not the motor.

I could slide my CA18DE. You had to keep the revs up and commit to it though, mid-corner corrections were not an option. The turbo would do much better.

Yep, slide mine quite a bit, and do auto kharnas in it.

I have a ball, theres no doubting that, it has enough for me to do 3rd gear entries/slides/ and i always have a great time.

a sequence a guy got for me.

If you are seriously consider a CA18, I would do a minor overhaul atleast before I drop the motor in, there getting a little old and would need some minor work for reliability.

if a ka24e can do it, hell a 4age a ca18 can for sure can.

mine with a t28 impressed people. a bone stock ca18 doesn't have enough balls for crazy drifts but in tight corners you can throw your car from side to side easily. its just those long banks

Wow that looks good! CA18 drifffta!!! Looks like it would be a lot of fun. I cant wait till mine is put togther.

well i went from drifting my 86 to a 180 with a ca i blow the head gasket on the way to the track a few weeks ago now i got the head off and had every thing redone on it i hope it will last a long time iv only had it a few months but it drifts way better then my corolla
