ok so i have gt28s, and i have been doing a lot of thinking on going bigger, more like the 3071s or similar. anyways this is aimed towards people with those or similar sized turbos. is it worth it, i mean in all reality i miss my oversized stockers, they spool quick and pull hard. So do the 28r but it takes a lot longer to spool and i never really get to use their full power. where as with my old ones id boost cruising around town. just wondering if any one else had regrets on going bigger or had a diff POV?

Sounds like you would be better off getting some upgrades to help lower lag time as opposed to larger turbos

Not much more I could do besides an anti lag system which I don't need. I figure its the larger ic piping and ported heads etc...

Exactly what you said- bigger turbos is only one piece of making more power and with twin turbos, you have two entire turbo tracts to improve the flow and remove restriction (ie larger ID) from the IC piping before everything works well together.
Once the larger turbos can easily push the extra air through the system, the lag issues should decrease as your traction issues increase... :chuckle:

IMHO, anything bigger than a sport700 is a waste for a street car. Unless you go to a drag strip, or you street race (in which case you'd be an ***hole), then 500 or so RWHP is P-L-E-N-T-Y for a street driven car.
