Ok so I'll admit I serf Auto Trader and Ebay Religiously to try to find a Vert in the same shape as mine and see what its selling or sold for to kind of get some idea on what my car is worth... When I came across this...

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/...false

Looks like a good buy at first glance, and if I didn't have mine a 26,000 mile vert would be very tempting, but then I started looking at this vert and comparing it to mine and trying to see if this car was a ligit 26K mile car...

So I started looking at the picks and came across this...

I wanted to get a second opinion but to me if you look at the front nose of the car it looks like its been photo chopped onto the car, its like dips in and they forgot to add in the black line... My car is in storage at my parents about an hour away so I was wondering if anyone could look at their car at that same angle and see if the fender dips in behind the front nose... I don't think it does by looking at pictures of mine but, who knows maybe I'm seeing things...

This car also doesn't have that same clean feeling that a 26K mile car should have, ive seen 50-75K mile cars that look cleaner but again maybe Im just looking for faults in this rival low miles vert

So my question is, What do you think is it a ligit 26K mile car or not?

It's missing bumper extentions.

It's a great looking 16 year old car. It looks only to be missing the passenger front bumper extension as TheBlainat pointed out. It even has the OEM floormats and leather seat option. And do I think it's a real 26,000 mile car? I don't know...get the VIN # and run a CARFAX...that's the only way you can be sure...if it has an flags, I would run...but it looks to be a nice gently used car.

Yeah I keep my eyes peeled, I knew something was up it didn't look right, but I couldn't put my finger on it, but I've not ever had mine apart to know what makes what happen there and didn't have my car here to look at. Its a pretty good price considering I paid $8500 for mine stock, considering someone getting the extensions and having a custom piece of stripe made, I'm now wondering how a car with 26K on it has missing body parts... lol I looked at the Carfax on it though its been around a little, but no wrecks, but I can't say I believe Carfax 100% (if it was fixed at a small body shop and/or not reported it won't be on there) It does show it was sold at an auction at one point... I'd love to see this one in person to really get a look at it, but I don't feel like driving 3 hours plus to just look Still def a good enough looking body for someone to do a little work to and have a sure fire head turner... and I guess the cleanliness will come, My engine is so clean you could eat off it but I also spent 3 hours when I first got it just detailing the engine bay, lets just say I'm a bit OCD

And even then you can't be 100% certain. Some Nico members in General Chat have exposed sellers that have altered the mileage on cars while Car Fax comes up clean .

Thats what this feels like to me, on this car but who knows lol...

My carfax came back clean I bought it from a Nissan Dealership who ran me all the Service records on the car the dealership I bought it at was the same dealership it was bought new and traded back into twice, gotta love these small WV towns everything is so close knit that people trade cars back in from where they got them from even YEARS later
