I haven't had time to build my box or amp rack yet, but I thought I'd list my system parts and see what ya thought. Most of it was either given to me or picked up quite cheaply.

Somewhere in the trunk is the best answer I can give at the moment, lol.

well have you taken measurements yet? The way I see it is that your going to pull out the extra stuff in the trunk (spare. jack etc) to make room for it and mount it at an angle. The sub it self needs the min of 3cu FT.. good luck let us know how it turns out

3 cu ft won't be a problem at all! My 12" T2 has a custom ported 3 cu ft box also.. once you get the foam and spare tire out, there's more room in the trunk than what meets the eye! And the extra 3" of diameter won't be a problem at all!

The only thing that you can do to keep the 15" sub in the trunk is to take out the spare tire and build a box from the floor up and have the sub lay flat or tilted forward facing you.

I had 2 15" Mmats Juggernauts that I kept from my '03 altima that I wanted to use but after getting this car and lookin in the trunk I knew I would have a problem. Each sub need's 4.5 cu/ft of air space and the only way of even using one sub was to take out the spare tire and build a box from the floor up and lose my trunk.

There maybe another way of getting the sub in there without loosing the trunk, but you would have to ask the professionals (DOC, AppleBonkers and VBaller) I'm not quite at the build a custom box level yet.

Now I never got to measure the trunk without the foam in it so i'm not 100% sure on the trunks true dimensions. Remember that the wood thickness is 3/4" and your external dimensions isn't your true volume of the box. btw rjdmmfl1 were is my speaker p0rn video of your setup?

Did the older L7 require smaller boxes? I'm wanting to say it requires 1.5 cu ft...but hey, I could be wrong.

15" Solobaric L7 ... 1.5 cu ft.... ummm, no, not vented!

1.5 is the absolute smallest recommended sealed volume, and that thing would sound like crap in a 1.5 cu ft box!
