Thats the stock Turbo on the S14 and S15. : ) You can find it much easier on eBay and such from people who have done swaps. You can generally pick them up for several hundred dollars. : ) Sources say its a HKS GT2530, or extremely similar, but who knows.

I just realized my mistake when you posted the second one. Let me check some compressor maps and I"ll get back to you. : ) Those aren't stock turbos, completely my mistake. I glanced at T28 and thought you were talking about a stock. Let me get some more info. : ) Sorry about the confusion!

Better have some ceramic ball-bearings and all the other extras for $1500!

It was just a thought. I dont know the price of turbo's for the SR20DET. I thought it might be a deal concidering the exchange rate. What would be a good price for a 380hp capable turbo?

It really depends on what kind of turbo it, and who makes it, and who sells it etc...

Lets say a nonball bearing T3/T4 from turbonetics runs $750-850...

A HKS GT series is in the $1500-2100 range, so it really all depends, and is too hard to say what you should pay.

So $1549 for this turbo:

Rated 440hp

Spec's:-Ball bearing Turbo0.86a/r Turbine Housing (5 bolt outlet)0.70a/r Compressor HousingWatercooler Centre48 Trim Compressor Wheel (T04S)48 lbs/min Comp Flow Max.76 Trim Turbine WheelIntegral Wastegate

Is a pretty standard deal? I thought it might be a good deal concidering the exchange rate.

Unrelated:

Would 550cc TT Supra injectors work in the sr20det fuel rail? I think that the supra and the sr20det both use side feed injectors.

I"m not 100% sure, but I don't think the supra injectors fit.

I wouldn't bother buying it from Aussieland, you can find HKS GT turbos for 1000 dollars if you find a good shop, and its American so you don't have to worry about expensive shipping and transfering your money to Aussie bucks. The HKS GT2530 can be found for around 1000, it has great response aroun 3k RPMs, and you can put out about 320 to the wheels with it. You said you wanted 380, if you want that at the flywheel, thats what the GT2530 will be putting out when you hit about 320 to the ground. Also, 320 to the ground is sick fast. : ) You may wish to check INCON, sometimes they'll allow you to swap out housings and what not, and if you can get a GT2530 with a .86 A/R turbine housing, that'd be better. But if not, its more than sufficient as is.

you can put down 400-500 to the ground with an $800 T3/T4 64trim (need t3 manifold) with the right tuning......I don't see spending twice that for a t-28
