Ever watch endurance racing? It's tradition for some classes to still run yellow. They used to have to in order to inentify cars of certian classes.

So it is old school cool.

Unless your jdm corners light up in the white and orange at the same time, your camera sucks, cause it looks like the whole thing is illuminated. But i like the daytime pics. You said you paid only 20 bucks? I might holla!!!

THANK GOD , someone who got it.

That is the only reason i got them. I love endurance racing and i thought it would be fun to add those to my car. I dont want yellow bulbs , i just wanted the lense to be yellow.

rico05 is the man.

Lol... they're clear corner lights, with half painted amber... Pretty inexpensively innovative, I thought....

This is nothing that I do not already know.

http://www.nicoclub.com/ROTM/rotmapr07.shtmlCheck my ROTM page. I bow down to the shrine of enduro racing (driving lights, haha). I think tomorrow, along with finishing my dash redo and smoking my tail lights and marker lights, I will put the rest of my yellow film on my headlights.

I know here there would be a legal issue with that.

And you're a drifter, not an endurance racer :P

Endurance racing would put me to sleep. I get bored driving gokarts for half an hour.

actually, more than just a tradition, it's for visibility. Form almost always follows function in racing.

Yellow light is a long wavelength so it combats dispersion unlike shorter wavelengths like blue. So it cuts through rain/dust/random crap better than blue, which is why I laugh at the ricer's with those blue bulbs, as it just looks like you're driving into a sheet, where as a yellow would project through a bit better.
