As some of you may know, I have sold my car last weekend. It was my first car, first 240, that I bought with my money and paid for everything with my money. So it was kind of hard to let go since I thought I would at least keep it another few years.

After the buyer drove away and left me with an envelope of cash I couldn't help but feel an emptiness inside me. The car left me with so many memories, mostly pleasant memories since it never gave me any trouble. All I have left now are pictures of her to remember by and I just felt like sharing it with you all one last time. It's definitely not the best compared to most of you here but I'm happy to see that all my goals for this car came true before I sold it.

Oh yea and before I forget, unless you absolutely have to sell your car or someone is offering something you can't refuse, don't do it or you will have seller's remorse. I don't think I'll ever leave nico though, I love the community and still have lots of love for 240's. Although I'm 99.9% sure that I will not be getting another 240 in the future.

And lastly, my ride for another year until I can save up enough for my dream car. (at least this baby has kouki skirts and a spoiler! something that i always wanted on my car..)

i sold my first 240 to my buddy after buying my second one, and i still felt kinda bad lol I was really happy for him to have it, but at the same time, its like all the work i've done to it and just the memories ive had in it kinda went with it. luckily tho since its my friends, now we both have 240s and hang and work on s*** together, so it was worth it.

but if wasnt getting another 240, I definitely would not have sold it!

thanks guys,

as far as getting another 240 in the future, i doubt i could find another 240 this clean for the price i sold it for. but if i could find a nice kouki then i might buy it but i doubt it.

my dream car has been the s2000 and i'm 100% set on getting it as my next car. which explains why i would not be getting another 240 and the reason why i sold my 240, so i could save up for it while i drive my mom's corolla for now. i want something newer and faster stock, since i don't really want the possible headaches of a modded car b/c i won't be able to work on it myself.

all in all i will miss my car and i will always look twice when i see a 240 driving by. i'm really glad the car went to a good buyer though, i trust that he'll keep it just as clean as i did.

I had my last 240 for six years after numerous small mounting problems I sold it and have hated myself ever since. I tried everything to replace it without actually buying another one and 6 cars later I bought another. It may be a POS but its the best money I have spent for the last 6 years. Just my $.02

Good thinking on the S2000, major upgrade compared to a 240. For the price though, I would rather boost a miata.

yea all my friends and family are surprised that i sold it so suddenly because they knew how anal i was with the car...

and as for the s2000, 1 test drive was enough to win me over lol. maybe not as fast as a boosted 240 but speed isn't much of a selling point for me. i'll definately make a post when i get it, whether it'll be a year from now or more.

I'm sure you meant to say S2000's are rice, because you wouldn't dare show love for Honda around here. Just kidding, I hate because I cannot afford.

Sold my perfectly good running s13 with a redtop with kyb agx struts and 18 in drift z wheels for 2500!!!! it was to my "friend" I only ended up with 2 grand he had some great excuses NOT! hes a compulsive liar with a hot girlfriend. but to pursue the aditional 500 would have been kinda expensive so i let it go.... heres the best part though he traded the s13 for a POS 300zx with like 5 million miles, even trade, he took the battery out of it Red Top Optima that i had purchased a few moths prior and put it into the 300... anyways the dumbass was racing on a false tag and no insurance got that thing impounded from a tow company in witch my brother works at. So lets jus say a year down the road im doing the finishing touches up on my new s13 sr powered with a Red Top Optima in the engine bay!!! and i slept with his girl

Shoot I have buyers remorse for selling door panels. I don't think I could deal with selling an actual car that I built.

Yes, I just sold my KA24E-T 1990 SE and there's a thread about it now that's making me miss the hell out of it for the very reason I sold it. I miss working on the car and trouble shooting things I just didn't have the time to do it anymore.

I'll probably end up replacing the car after I buy a house with the lady. I'd say about a year or so from now. Most likely it'll be another S13 either SR20DET or KA24(D)E-T

i sold my 93 base model hatch and its the greatest thing i could have ever done. i ended up buying a 92 SE coupe not too long after and ive always had coupe love so selling the hatch was a good thing to me because i always favored the coupe over the hatch and when i had the hatch i didnt even want to work on it because it wasnt what i really wanted. i think the only car i would give up the coupe for would be a new GTR but i would want cash on top of the trade cause my coupe love runs deep......ha haa ha.
