Wow, Looks like the weld was surface only, not enough actual metal penetration. But please answer the above questions, how long was it on the car? How long if any was it exposed to the elements?

Looks like a Honda mani. The head flange doesn't match the DOHC or SOHC KA. It's hard to tell from the picture, but it doesn't look like a simple weld failure. Looks like a chunk of that runner is missing. But it would be easier to say if the photos were clearer and showed more close-ups of the hole itself. I definitely do not like that the wastegate flange is only attached to one runner.

no sir, look at my first post, i attached a link to honda-tech's forum that tell more about the manifold.

i'm trying to protect the investment of nico's members, at the same time, by no mean don't let me stop anyone buying their manifolds if you feel like so. ;)

well, if they used thicker wall tubing and got someone who knew how to weld, the manifolds would be good. That port work looks aweful!! I'd be ashamed to sell someone something like that. Do these people not take pride in their work??

I got the exhaust. It's just an OBX exhaust I guess. It looks of really good quality though. REALLY good welds.

exhaust (catback) take less stress because less heat is involve--and would last longer, i suppose.
