This turbo is prolly too big for a CA, right?

Garrett GT25/40R TurbochargerTurbine- Wheel: 53mm w/ 62 Trim - Housing: .64 A/R- T25 Flange

Compressor- Wheel: 60mm w/ 60 Trim- Housing: .70 A/R

Someone on the board is selling this for a reasonable price, I'm guessing a 2540R .64 is probably too big to get streetable spool on the ca?

It will be a little laggy, but if drag racing is your thing, it will work good. Ought to know that it won't work with the stock manifold. The 25/40R has a huge T04S compressor housing.

I want to keep the stock bottom end, don't want to have to run higher than 93 octane, and would like spool by 3500-4000 rpm.I don't really care about the power level, anything over 250 would be really fast. I don't race much and when I do its autocross.

Spool is more like 4500-5000 rpm. This is probably not the turbo for you as it more for the 375-400hp level.

i bought a .86 version for my car. way to big. sold it and paid for a complete t3/t4 50trim setup. Masterpower 50trim, Turbosmart Ultragate, and a logmanifold. now one of these days ill actually get to put it on my car.

yeah after reading everyones responses I had already decided not to use it, I want something smaller and more responsive. I plan to eventually add cams but even then from what I understand, the stock rods aren't going to want to do much more than 7500 rpm without giving me trouble, and spooling after 4000 rpm just doesn't give me enough fun room.:-)

the .70 A/R might be a bit much.

I would go for something along the .6 range for good non-laggy power... its not total overkill though.
