Ok. forget the q45 fuel pump, i got other fuel pump. okay, 300zx tt fuel pump, got it. My last shopping will be fuel management system. I know SAFC2 costs minimum 300 bucks. Plus I'm gonna need new MAF for that. But this's ridiculous. The whole turbo kit costed less than 600, but fuel management cost half of it. I know it's elec. stuff, fuel management, should be expensive than any other ka-e turbo parts, and of cource it's important. BUT i know there's always cheaper way to go. And I'm trying to find that safe and cheap way, but all i can think of is buy a used one. Is there any other option for me?I'm totally stuck with fuel management system. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no you shouldnt buy an safc for more than 260$....and why do you need a new MAF? you can use stock or another one such as a z32 but its all about the limits of the MAF which has nothing to do with the SAFC. but you will need bigger injectors..370cc's are 100$ normal price..i got mines for 50$

Actually with piggy-backs that alter the MAF voltage, you do need more headroom in the MAF to run larger injectors. The SAFC's and the E-Manage work by clipping the MAF signal to reduce injector open times. So, if you are running a 30% larger injector, you will need to clip the MAF signal to achieve 30% less injector duration. So when the MAF puts out 5 volts, the ECU will see less. Mine saw about 4.6V, IIRC, with an e-manage. But if the ECU would only be able to provide a 100% duty cycle at a MAF certain voltage and beyond, then if the injectors get too big, the injectors will never be able to be maxed out. From the datalogs from my emanage, my duty cycle did max out at less than 100% with 370cc injectors and the stock MAF. Even larger injectors will do this more. With the E-Manage, you have the option of running an optional pressure sensor to deal with this issue, but the SAFC, AKAIK, can not. Essentially, the MAF will max out before the injectors. Going to a larger MAF will lower the overall voltage and give you the room you need to max out the injectors before the MAF, which is ideal if you are planning to run at or near the max of the injectors.

i meant the safc has the capabilities of running bigger injectors but the limit of the MAF is different like i said. once changed MAF..the safc has no problem dealing with it..thats all i mean
