Hey all,

I posted earlier about a plug that I can can't seem to find where it goes.

This plug is located coming from the bunch of wires that come out from under the fuel filter (89 240SX) and right next to the oil filter.

Hopfully someone can help me find a home for it.

Here are two pics.http://www.we-todd-did-racing....D.jpg

The plug laying on the silver tubing.http://www.we-todd-did-racing....D.jpg

Thanks!!

Andy

only plugs that come to mind in that area that look like that are alternator, or some of the plugs that go into the side of the fuse box, or the ac dryer.

No similar plug in that area on my DE. Maybe it is supposed to run forward of that position up near the fusebox. Thats where similar plugs are in my car. All your other lines match mine. Maybe someone with an E will come in and let us know.

It could be a few things after checking out the engine bay.

here is my list of questions that might give us a suspect!1. do you still have your cruise control actuator?2. Do you have ABS on your car?3. is your car mt or at? if it is mt, was it ever at?4. which side of the shock tower is the plug coming from? before the shock tower (closer to firewall) or after (closer to bumper) ie. where are the wires pokin out of the harness from?

I've always wondered what it was. It isn't connected to anything on my '90 ka24e.

Hey Guys,

I just found out that this plug isn't used for anything (at least it isn't attached to anything on any of the people that responded to my other thread.) It should have a cap on it. Mine doesn't.

Oh well. I guess we found out that it doesn't have any use.

Ive looked thru my FSM and cant find where it is. It comes out of the wiring loom that has the starter and all of the transmission plugs. My best guess is that is might be used for ABS, since the ABS modulator would be mounted on the firewall on the left side of the engine. But i dont have ABS and the plug i have has a cap on it. Anyone with ABS on a SOHC??
