one of the funniest incidents i had with a civic went like this-

i was driving around, and noticed the telltale civic exhaust note.

there was a black civic coupe with a body kit, dual exhaust, gauges, and a rollcage with a fire extinguisher.

so i tailed him until we caught a light together. there was no other cars on the street for the next 3 lights, and it was a 40 mph zone.

i took the car out of overdrive, the light dropped, and i launched it.

at the top of second gear, he was almost two car lengths behind me.

i was driving my old 2nd gen acura legend legend auto with 120k miles on it.

Well I have heard of Skyline kits for civic's, but I thought someone was just pulling my leg.

Now I have seen one with my own eyes and that is just wrong and broken...... If anybody tried that here in Australia the car would be trashed within a week. And the dood would be a laughing stock.

One thing I don't understand. How does this person figure the value of that car is $27,000 when the engine is damn near stock? It must be according to him and not Kelley Blue Book. This person must know it's not worth it if they're willing to take $17,000 for a car he "thinks" is worth $27,000. Hell, I've seen Acura NSX's, G35 sedan's and coupes, 350z's, Lexus IS300's, modded 300zx's, Honda S2000's, Jaguar S Types, 2002 Infiniti Q45's and 2003 M45's...etc etc. all for $27,000 or less, some of those around $17,000! And someone was willing to pay $27,000 for that mechanically stock automatic Civic? Doesn't anybody wonder WHY that person is selling it?
