SO, as I've been going by my local audio shop, there's a guy that dropped off his green honda natural gas vehicle. He's having the interior re-done, putting custom 3 way components up front (dynaudio esotec 342) and two way components in the rear (another set of dynaudio esotecs) he's also going with the audio control DQXS active corossoover system. that plus some other things he's getting done to the vehicle. In short, he stated he had a $10,000 limit on mods to the Honda.

He also comes in and bring in his Mercedez V12 CL 500... with its factory Harman Kardon sound system. Sounded pretty darn good IMO. He's driving around the "old" mercedez until the honda is finished. Still, no big deal right?

The clincher is his porsche. He's bringing in the porsche after the honda is finished, and he says there is no budget on work to be done to the porsche. The same day, the dynaudio rep was in and they sold him on the idea of none other than... you guessed it, THE ESOSTAR 2 component system, also running off of a DQXS active crossover setup.

just thought you could appreciate that Applebonker... I swear, some people have monmey to burn.. but this guy also donates a LOT of money to charity, sends $10,000/month in food and supplies to our trrops in iraq every... oh yeah, and he's an Obam supporter, so he's A-OK in my book!

Break my heart, no. Make me jealous, yes. I just wish I had money like this I could throw at my car. I'll probably eventually end up with the Esotar 2 setup, but saving for that is going to take a while. I can't even afford the mids that I so desperately need right now (driving around with one of my midranges missing is comparable to being stabbed in the ear with a screwdriver, IMO).

Was this guy going with the Esotar 2 1200 sub in the trunk of the Porsche too? I dunno if I'd want to add that weight to the Porsche.

Wow. I would love to say this suprises me, but it doesnt. I was talking to a guy the other day, who went and bought the very first GT-R our local dealership got(paid almost $100,000 with a check) Then went across the street and bought a new Saleen in the same day. Said it was going to be one or the other, then couldnt decide so bought both.

If the guy you where talking about didn't seem like a cool guy, and donated food and supplies to our troops, I would of said lets rob him. lol

Just Kidding
