There were previous threads regarding this matter and much discussion, however, this issue has yet to be resolved. This will be the last thread regarding this matter as if this is not resolved by this saturday, I will be filing the neccesary paperwork to take this matter to small claims court. I am sick of being given the runaround, having my calls dodged, and attempts to brush this matter under the rug.

THE FACTS

1. Authentic Top Secret G35 hood was purchased by Unlimited Tuning from me on ebay.

2. It was requested that the hood be custom painted to match the vehicle it would be going on. This was agreed upon for an additional fee and time for the hood to be painted.

3. Unlimited Tuning pays for the hood via paypal.

4. Unlimited Tuning files a dispute with paypal because they are impatient with the extra time it is taking to paint the hood. My paypal account is limited.

5. The hood is shipped and the dispute with paypal is settled, minus $175. To this day, I don't know why they refunded everything except $175 but that's how paypal handled it.

6. I demand that Unlimited Tuning pay the $175 balance on the hood that was purchased. They refuse. I post a thread on G35driver.com and finally they refund the $175 via paypal in exchange for a follow up post to show that they are handling the issue.

7. Just when I think everything is settled, Unlimited Tuning files a credit card chargeback for $1500 with their credit card. Paypal promtly removes the $1500 from my account and opens yet another dispute/investigation.

8. I call Unlimited Tuning and they claim they have cancelled the credit card chargeback.

9. Paypal closes the investigation, giving Unlimited Tuning back the $1500. (though I still have $175 so the amount they owe is $1325)

10. Once again, I get to play collection man and start calling Unlimited Tuning. They claim they filed "paperwork" to cancel the claim, however, paypal has already closed the dispute.

11. So now Unlimited Tuning owes me $1325 and they are continuing to dodge my phone calls. They refuse to address the issue and claim they are not a party to this transaction. As I stated above, if this is not resolved by Saturday, I will file the neccesary paperwork to bring this issue to small claims court. (If they lose the small claims case, they will be liable for additional costs incurred as well as court costs.) It is my hope that Unlimited Tuning will show their good faith by resolving this matter immediatly as it is in their best interest.

-------------------------------------------------------------

EVIDENCE

There's no dispute regarding the hood being delivered. I have a tracking number and pictures that can prove that as well as Unlimited Tunings own admission that they recieved the hood.

As far as the paypal/credit card problems I pointed out above, paypal puts everything in a convinient chart, which I have screen capped and attached to this post.

I'm a little confused - Is "unlimited tuning" a member here? Was this a transaction that took place on NICO?

I'd love to help out, but we're gonna need some more info, man.

What does this have to do with NICO?

Are you just trying to warn members about Unlimited Tuning?

IOf they were a reputable company, you'd think they'd have contacted us about advertising.

Like I said, I have never heard of them.

Perhaps post up some contact info, maybe some folks can call / email on your behalf?

I've bought items in the past from Roo and never had a problem, so with that in mind I'll email them and see if I can be of any assistance. One would think if their a reputable company they wouldn't have a problem settling a $1325 mishap.

So as of right now this is where everything stands. The transaction was between myself and an Unlimited Tunning employee, not Unlimited Tunning themselves. Since after this whole situation has been brought to light/web, this employee has lost his job. It was never my intent to for anyone to loose their job, for this I appalogise. As for Unlimited Tunning Iam sorry for any negative way this has effected your business. It was never my intent to instigate nor did I ever bash your company. I have heard really good things about company and the way it is ran. I do not believe they would try to scam me out of such little money and ruin thier reputation. So for everyone on here please do not look at them under a negative perspective, please do not contact them under this matter, it will just make things worse. Unlimited Tunning is a creditable company and do treat their customers w/ respect and do not scam people. They are a great company and their Reputaion should be restored amounst all fellow and non forum members. They are not the ones to blaim they are, they just an inocent bistandard in this situation. So please stop the negative reponces against Unlimited Tunning.

Glad to see your being reasonable. As good as a company can possibly be they are bound to have at least one or 2 mistakes or "bad apples" as seen in your case..

Please take in consideration that UT reputaion still stands strong w/ me and should w/ everyone else on and off the forum. Please dont misunderstand this thread. It was between an employee of UT, not UT as a company. So UT had nothing to do w/ it and shouldnt take an negative feedback from anyone.thank you for understanding

I dont understand. Employees is what makes the company's reputation. The company itself doesnt do anything but to stand as a name. So if the employee F'd up then that is considered as a whole. And most people recommend others to a particular company because of excellent customer service.

Firing an employee wont solve any future problems. This is why we always want to speak with the Manager or Owner if theres a big problem and that they should/could fix it to keep the company's reputation.

But hey, if you got your money back then , we're all happy for you .

Im sorry to say I have not recieved any money back from them. But I wanted to make sure that we are all on the same page w/ this situtation. UT's reputaion shouldnt be damaged because of this, and I appolagise if it was. So please keep in consideration that this is an actual business we are talking about and thier reputaion should be restored.thanks you for understanding
