OK.. Here is my LATEST issue...Well its actually been going on for a while now....I am finding it increasingly more difficult to get my car in 1st gear or reverse... Also.. when at a stop light, with the car in 1st gear and my foot fully depressed on the clutch I notice that the clutch is still very slightly engaged as the car starts pulling forward.. Then I try to pull it out of first gear and it is very hard to do so... I have also noticed a couple of times when I take my foot off of the clutch. it does not come completely up again. I have to put my foot UNDER the clutch pedal and lift it up.

Sounds like the clutch master is going. Replace it and the slave at the same time. It is cheap and quick.

Last time I took the car into my Jap Specialist he told me that the master was leaking a little bit.. Though I have never noticed any fluid leak.. But I guess that sounds about right.. Unfortunatly I am no good at repairing cars other than the electrical components.. So I guess its back to the shop....Unless changing it out is really that easy. Thanks for the info.

2 nuts and remove the lines coming out the side. It is very easy, no special tools required.

Do I have to bleed it like brakes.. or are there any adjustments that have to be made?

yes, you will bleed it just like brakes. No adjustments neccesary. Oh yeah, on the slave cylinder there are two bolts and a line coming in also. Both are very easy to do. You might consider picking up a manual because it will probably have pictures and of course it has the actual step by step process.

Check the inside wall, up behind the clutch petal. If a CMS is going to leak, it will often leak INTO the car.. dont ask me why.. something to do with the seals..

if you want to prolong this for a little while, just try pumping the clutch a couple times before you shift to build up the pressure. good luck.

They like to leak into the car because the clutch master actually comes through the firewall(about 1/2").
