Tons of research show the NA "wrist pins" can't handle much over 10psi safely. Also research shows that the stock t22/25 turbos actually spool up slower than the tt. The NA heads are very restrictive. Even a heavily ported and polished NA head will barely compare to the tt head.
the tt heads swap with no problem and are a good upgrade in even NA applications.
The na may feel more power because of the lowend Tqe, but will never be as powerful or reliable as the TT.
If you are some how thinking,"swap the wrist pins then". there is a build i have been following of just that.
IMO its f***ing retarded. I'f you going to pull the motor COMPLETELY apart, just to change the wristpins, might as well change the pistons and have the same reliability and performance of a true TT engine.
