Spent the last 2 days getting her all cleaned up, fluids changed, details taken care of... Took a little blast down to the store and remembered how fun this car is to play with.

Got a potential buyer coming out in 2 weeks, but life is gonna be bananas 'til then...

Still hoping someone will pop up and make us a better offer on it, but if not, she'll go to her new home (for a lot less money than I was asking)... :(

Best of luck Greg, that car looks like an awesome drive.

The only thing I would change is the wheels, every thing else looks great!

Thx all.

BBB, the lifts aren't very expensive. We needed more in-garage storage, so it's perfect for that (we can actually put 5 cars in a 3-car garage). :)

I hope it goes to a good home Greg, it's a beautiful ride. If this would've been a year or so down the road, I would've jumped all over this thing.

Roger that.

For those that care to know, it was $1850 delivered, and I put it together in about 6 hours. It's totally badass. :)

I think <$2000 definantly worth it, especially in the long run. Having lift is such a life saver. Did you have to dig under concrete like 6 feet and all that? Difficulty rating 1-10?

Im suprised its still on the market..

No digging, no drilling. Sets right on the concrete. You CAN anchor it if you're a paranoid ninny ( ;) ) but our house is on a post-tension slab, so you can't drill it (bad s*** would happen). It's also movable (has wheels) - I can move it across the garage by myself. Super-simple assembly, especially if you're strong (parts be heavy).

Definitely true!

Bears repeating for everybody: please do NOT drill holes in post-tension concrete house foundations ... never!!

The cables inside the concrete were pulled tight (up to 25,000 lbs!) shortly after the concrete became close to hardening. This allows the concrete to be much stronger than usual for the thickness of a typical foundation.

Then, If you drill holes, you may cause the cables to break or lose their tension and/or the concrete to crack around the cables. If this happen, the weight of the house/concrete will cause the foundation to sag (a little or a lot depending on the ground material under the house)! :ohno:

So Bex had to help?

And, had I known long enough in advance to save up, I'd be all over this. Good luck with the sale.

I would have loved to have that vert, but I live in Indiana which would render it useless most of the time. Especially now that it seems to be Seattle here.

I'm actually surprised they haven't been all over it.

At the very least, one of them could buy it, reverse-engineer it, and look for things I didn't do right....

Liiiiike, not enough zip ties. ;)
