So the second time i topped of the truck was today. The first time i filled up i was really low on fuel. Leaving the gas station i pulled out and got to the light then once the light turned green i proceded to take off and the truck dies while in gear and would not turn over for at least 30 min of trying. It would crank, but would not fire at all. I chalked it up to a dry spot in the line from being so low before i filled up. The second time i filled up was today and it did the exact same thing at the same place. Why is it doing this?

It sounds like you may have a dirty fuel filter and/or gas tank. Because there could be a lot of gunk in your gas tank, e.g. sand, rust or other debris, when you have the tank filled, this gets swirled around and sucked up by the fuel pump. As soon as enough of this gunk gets into your fuel filter, it gets blocked.

Do you just wait and it kicks off again after 30 minutes? Or do you let it sit over-night?

I wait till it kicks off again cause both times i habe been 15 min from home then it sits over night
