LOL, you fail. There's more than one way to do it and cutting a certain wire is one of them....the easier one.

well actually i clipped 2 wires, the brown one and the light blue with silver dots that comes off the light control fuse, and i just sodered a wire to the wire leading to the fuse and then a wire leading away from the fuse and put that to a switch, and as for my divers seat its leaned back ghetto style so i could lay on it while working under the dash lol

hah no you fail. i clipped one wire on my 92 hatch before i went sil front. i had lit sleepy eyes. i own 10 240's at the moment man i think i know somethin about them. that doesnt include all the ones ive already sold.

all ive ever had to do to sleepy eye my 240 was clip the brown wire hit the headlight switch until i got desired sleepiness and then turned on my headlights.

All 10 of your 240's must be broken because if you clip just the brown wire set too sleepy and cut the lights on they raise automatically.

thats not true, they close then they open again, well in my cars case anyway

I was just stating that they do not stay put unless add a switch like you did. I wasnt saying how they flipped lol

And the reason they close first is because the motor spins in a 360 rotation in one direction so it has to go down before it can go back up.

No you didnt unless your headlight motors were unplugged.

As stated above, clipping the brown wire only allows for sleepy eyes. routing a switch for the headlight motors makes for LIT sleepy eyes.
