This is exactly what I'd like for my 'vert. Only look at the boot cover... not the rest of the ugly car.

I wonder how the dimensions of the mustang compare to the s13 'vert???

I'd take about anything at this point (that's not $500).

It's too big. It won't fit in the trunk. You can make one!

However there is a 2 piece version. I can't find a better pic, but it looks something like this.

I already called a couple of places. Everyone said they can do it, but they also said there's no market for it. They knew about 240 verts and how rare they are.

If I had a vert I woulda made one of these ALONG time ago. If and when I ever get a vert is gonna be on top of my priorities along with coilovers, and sick wheels. I could care less that its auto cause its more for pimpin than going fast. I have my go fast cars so thats covered.

I don't know what to make of the Mustang's boot cover. I guess I'd have to see a photoshop of what it could potentially look like.

I just wish somebody would reproduce OEM boots.

The tonneau cover Greg made was pretty neat. I'd like to see how it would look in fiberglass or cf. I wonder how much it weighs?

You could get the dimensions off of Greg and just make a fiberglass or carbon fiber version of this. Would be hot and i would for sure buy one.

Just keep in mind that Greg took his top completely out. So if your keeping the top in you're gonna have to change it up.

For all....I'll be making one for mine in the next couple of weeks and messing around w/ different ideas. It's a great idea, and it came to my head as soon as I bought my new vert a few weeks ago. Obviously if there's a need for them, I'll make a good mold and maybe make some more?

I wish I had the time and the knowledge to make one myself. But I don't... So I'm really hoping you can make one that is cool. I'd certainly be interested in buying one if it turns out well.

I've been trying to brainstorm on a way to design a two piece unit. One piece would be a replica of the existing boot cover. The second would be a sporty looking cover for the back seat area with those cool humps (Nacelles?). This way I could retain the functionality of the rear seat if needed as well as maintain the functionality of the top if needed.

It's a shame that no one is making hardtop or tonneau cover for 240 verts. I've seen 3-4 different versions of Lotus M100 Elan hardtops, and Elan production number is very low.

You would think since there's such a huge aftermarket for 240s somebody would've made something by now. I've thrown the idea at people but nobody ever bothers with it.

I was a bit skeptical of how a tonneau cover similar to the one the Mustang has would look on our verts but after seeing this photoshop, I must say it doesn't look bad at all. It looks amazing.
