Here is my '93 240SX It is all original everything. I hope to upgrade soon, but I like it the way it is right now.

Welcome to NICO and...

Don't ruin it! LOL! It's USDM tyte!

EDIT: Oh duh, CDM! It's CDM tyte, eh?

Seriously though, I'm trying to restore my 240sx from the pseudo-rice/ice/bling that was on it when I bought it, and it can be a real PITA.

And it's nice to see someone who appreciates the 240sx for what it was and is, not what it "should've been," you know?

Anyway, props and welcome!

Thanks for your hospitality. I must say that this has gotta be the best site around and it's because of the people on here and oh yes, The Moderators. I'm quite happy with my car but it's not perfect. There is some surface rust coming thru and around the spoiler. I will get it fixed along with the same paint and a new windshield. As for the interior very good condition except for some stains that won't come out, but new carpet is coming with the paint job. So what do you think, should I get a big spoiler or something more low key. I appreciate your opinions. Thanks again

I actually love that color.....makes the S13 look mean and sexy. Keep it clean because it looks sweet that way. Like everyone else said, welcome to NICO.

Nice Car! You will love the 240.

I say if your getting the rust fixed and the car repainted then go with NO wing. I like the hatchback wingless.

Good luck with your new love!

Well guys it's been one hell of a week. Last wednesday July 28/04 she bit the big one. No I didn't crash it , I was driving home from work and all of a sudden there was a major loss of power. Then three big bangs and for the topper lots and lots of blue smoke. Yep the timing chain jumped at 65 miles/hour and by the time I got stopped , there was a connecting rod on the inside of my fender well. Crappy but it's ok I just bought a newer engine from a guy that had his 93' 240 rear ended. It's got 62,000 miles on it and spotless. I'm in love all over again. Can't wait to drop it in on saturday.I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it stays in one piece for awhile. It looks like this guy wants to see his engine live on and I'm more than happy to take it from him. It was only 1000 dollars. Canadian , Not bad huh?:ylsuper

Oh by the way , I know my car looks silver but it's actually a champagne. Thats what I've been told anyways. The reason I'm telling you this is believe it or not my car is gold but in the sun it looks silver. Just thought you should know. It's kind of a holographic paint but it's not, weird I know.
