sounds like big boost is planned. You'll probably need more than just an SAFC. You will need a fuel rail if you want 72lb injectors.

You could easily figure out what to get for your wastegate and BOV by knowing what amount of boost you want to run

And you'll probably want a nice big FMIC for that amount of power

I was under the impression that the starion intercoolers are some of the biggest aluminum ones. What do you suggest?

Yea, I just found out bout the fuel rail. They are cheap tho.

And yes big boost is lookin like the way to go. I would like 20+ on 118 octane.

as for engine control. I'd like to find something the equivlant of hondata for hondas. Anyone got any suggestions??

the Isuzu NPR intercoolers are pretty big

I've heard many good things about SDS for a cheap stand aolne.(it's around 1000 bucks)

Well, now that you know what kind of boost you want to run, that should answer your wastegate and BOV Q's

I don't know about the DSM BOV but I'm pretty sure it won't be able to take 20 psi. For a wastegate I'd go with a Tial.

BTW I've noticed more than once you've said waste gauge. I'ts pronounced wastegate.

none of the tial waste gates that I was looking at support over 1 bar.

{edit} found a site with High Pressure set-up springs. But an extra 100 bucks. I did'nt plan on spending 1,00 bucks on a waste gate and BOV.

Just buy a Tial 40mm with a 10psi spring. That only means when you turn the boost controller off it will run 10psi. With the boost controller on you can run more boost.

I think you are going about this all wrong. You should say, I want to make xxx amount of power, and what you plan to do with the car i.e. daily driven, raced on the weekend. THEN have someone with experience and knowledge tell you a setup that is proven to work. Just the way I would do it.

Yep, when they say the spring is good for 10psi that just means it's good for 10psi if the vacuum signal to it is not modified in any way. If you use a boost controller, you can turn it up :-D

Also, the DSM blow off valve holds more if you "crush" it. No, I dont know how you do that.

Well I could do that. but I could also turn my car over to a shop and say hey this is what i want you build it how u want. I would prefer to work my own set-up then get some outside input. Theres always more than one way to get things the way they work. This will be daily driven at 10 psi or less. I dont see the sense in it. When I autox'ing or what not then itll get the boost increase of high teens, and 20 plus on 118 octane.

[edit]Didnt wanna sound like I'm a know it all arrogant ***. But, what im tryin to say is NOTHING is set in stone. I put up my list to get opinions. You think somethin is wrong with it. tell me why, I have no problems accepting change. Besides if I wanted someone else to do it id buy a kit.

But anyways, thanks for the input on the wastegates and BOV. That helps a lot.
