Big deal. I went through a lot more than that trying to get a straight answer about ABS from Nissan.

What "straight answer about ABS", if any, did you receive. Nissan called me back this morning leaving me with more questions than answers. Answers to my questions from Nissan were conspicuous by their absence!

What do you guys mean? Is there a problem with your ABS? I live in New York and got my Versa about 3 weeks ago and it came with ABS. Is there an availability problem?

Understatement of the year.

It's hard to find ABS-equipped Versas. The first few started showing up what, maybe a month ago? And you still can't get ABS and the convenience package together... unless you live in Canada, and then it's called the Technology package but apparently doesn't come with satellite pre-wiring (am I right, canadians?)

ABS with electronic stability control comes with all SL models in Canada - it is not a separate package like in US. For the satelite wiring i cant say...

No mention of it at all on the Canada site, and on the US site it says satellite not available in AK and HI.. so I'm guessing that satellite pre-wiring is just a contintental US thing.

Yeah no convenience package for me. I have the S model because I just plan to put in an Avic Z1 anyway. Sorry to hear that you guys can't get your hands on it. You can have mine if you want I don't really use it.

You can't get satellite radio on HI or AK. Neither XM or Sirius satellite's footprint stretch out that far. But it does include most of Canada and Mexico. Years back, before sirius or xm was available to Canada, Canadian residents were purchasing and using satellite radios and paying their bills with American bank accounts. They knew about the footprint.

Here's the footprints.Siriushttp://satelliteradio.digitali...t.jpg

Oh sure, punish the residents of Juneau because Anchorage is outside of the footprint... hehehe
