this is how I failed the NJ state inspection

got my car inspected this morning..

here is the result:

it has failed inspection for the following condition

broken or missing lens/reflectordamaged wiper bladeshood handle hanging. shifter missing a knob!hood operation(what the hell is hood operation)tire failure

that was lame

umm, thanks for sharing, but u were asking for it... shoulda taken those safety items for repair/replacement 1st... lame on your part.

i had to pay a private garage $50 for the sticker since i had a crack in the windshield... but they said it passed w/ everything else, including the dyno test.

yes.. i didn't have the shift knob and the hood release was hanging.. but i reallie didn't know those were part of safety

and the tire, I 've had even worse b4, but i still passed. not sure about this time. i seriously didn't the windshield wiper and headlight was defected until they told me.

i dont think i have any problem passing it next time

When i got my car in May 05, i ALMOST failed COx but passed by like 2ppm...but failed for broken rear sidemarker -_-

another reason living in the midwest is somewhat bearable. no inspections for me!!!!

OK...I'll ask. Why don't you have a shift knob? Isn't it kind of uncomfortable to shift like that?

Personally, I think you should use a tennis ball, or maybe that Purple Cat Shift Knob.
