Somehow I'm not surprised you were the first to reply in this thread.

You mean pretend your a cone when they slalom on two wheels? Just make sure I'm not the one driving. I've taken out a number of cones when I'm on 4 wheels. :gapteeth:

I personally think that's really cool, but I don't think it would work here because the average American would be stupid enough to try those things.

Seriously, they would.

Very cool, but I don't see it happening in the US. If broadcast here, some dope will yell "hey y;all, watch this!", attempt it on a busy street, crash, kill himself and a bystander, and both will file multimillion dollar lawsuits against GM, the townsip it occurred in, the EMT's who were "too slow" to arrive, the police for not stopping it from happening, the production company that made the video, and of course Youtube and its parent company for airing it and giving the dope the idea to try it. :)

if they're dead, they can't sue.

THAT WAS AWWEEESSSSOOMMMEE!!!!!!!

uuummmm all those making lame a** typical 'america sucks and cant handle the liability' excuses, then why are there stunt shows in the states at all??

all this is, is a stunt show with a name brand behind it. imo this could totally happen in the states, if the brand behind it wasnt generally associated with old, slow , blind, lane drifting, lameness.

that being said, i love what cadillac is doing and think their cars are flip'n sweet LOL

Fixed. I left out a couple of words.

If broadcast here, some dope will yell "hey y;all, watch this!", attempt it on a busy street, crash, kill himself and a bystander, and both surviving families will file multimillion dollar lawsuits.

And change the word townships to "town".

Better? :chuckle:

Yeah, I agree. Not even close. Everything happens much slower and well, they are hyundais. The old crappy ones anyways.

Nah, this is how Cadillac should market here.

Combine that with the Chinese ad's stuntwork and you've got a barrel of win.

Also, I noticed the Chinese cars have HUGE low-mounted center brake lights. Looks weird.

But wasn't that commercial played here in the states? I've seen it before. Or at least something very similar as the passing still images turning into a movie is very familiar.
As was the newer cadillac passing the old one.

And you're 50 years too late. Joie Chitwood was doing all that stuff before I was born. GREAT shows.

So that's what GM did with the Saab Performance Team drivers?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZRJaW4fNVw

Instead of Saab's they now drive Cadillacs.

Yes, that was shown here. I was being sardonic. That one was a superbowl ad from 2003.
