Its about time they do this. we got too many badass roads to not be able to hold races on.

and no, this is not the street racing most of you are thinking about, this is like Isle of Man/ Long Beach GP/Detroit GP type deal. Road racing more like it.

Ive been waiting for this to happen for years. finally we can get some hill climbs going on blood mountain! :D

like i said id love to see a new division of the SCCA start up haha. North GA Hill Climb series or something like that, cause we got plenty of badass mountain roads. we also have a dirt road going all the way from athens (where UGA is) alllll the way up to the mountains. which is like 100 miles.

can you say RALLY!?!

Cool stuff man. Kinda wish I still lived in TN so I could make a trip down to GA for something like that.

How long do you give it till people start complaining about engine noise from the races?

its not gonna be like a weekly thing. and i dont think the govt would care about their whining since they would make about ~60,000,000 according to how much the Detroit GP made from a single race..

and besides South East Drift holds monthly drift events right in the Heart of atlanta, at turner field and we get no complaints. people love it.

I think every city should hold something like this...Think about the revenue generated. Minus insurance, production, and related costs of course.

For most hill climbs, you'll be mandated to build your car for strict safety specs. I have a cage being put in my Corolla right now to be able to be on the grid for the Penn Hill Climbs.

SouthEast Drift events are amongst some of the best drift events I've been to! I check their site regularly and when I'm home, me and the bros drive down to turner field. I'm looking forward to the "Triple Threat 3" series this summer.

Back on topic, this new bill is pretty damn awesome. I can't wait to see what events are gonna go down.
