I assume the Bugatti loses because it's a bloated mess that doesn't serve the purpose of anything but being comfortable while going at insane rates of speed in a straight line?

The Veyron lapped Top Gear's test track faster than the Enzo...So calling it a bloated mess is a little off.

There are many cars faster than the veyron under 150mph or so, it's upwards that the veyron shines.
