they used the sohc and carburated(sp?) it....there's ways to get a lot of horsepower of that little engine...but it's only for racing so it's probably not street driveable at all~

I seriously doubt that motor is stock. It may not look like much but Im willing to bet that motor has a lot of internal work done. Besides most racing classes have HP and weight limits to even out the field. Its all in the handeling

he's running off of a single cam HAHAHA...thats funny why didn't he use the DOHC stock motor and worked on that?

He probably went for the SOHC for weight reasons, and since they most likely have horsepower limits for the cars, it could be easily achieved with that motor. Think multiple throttle bodies and high compression

I do not believe the DOHC is legal in this class.
