yeah, but it was a very good game nonetheless. all the patriots peeps watching the game at my house were sweatin it. when the patriots scored the winning field goal, their response was more of a sigh of relief instead of cheers of joy.

look for carolina to tweak their offense a little to cater more to delhomme...they'll be back ;) .

It was great game, one of the best Ive seen all year. I was cheering for the panthers near the end. I didnt want to see either teams lose, they both deserved it, it pretty much came down to the Pats just got the ball last.

I didn't want too see either team lose either, but I think the Patriots deserved it. They had all the play fakes and other great plays, where as most of the Panthers' great plays were blind luck (i.e.: 88 yard pass).

Just my $.02, though. :oface

I think Delhomme didnt get much love for his performance, He had about the same yardage as Brady in half as many attempts. to quote brady, "he threw the crap out of it on us".

However, i'm a Ravens fan, so i was secretly hoping that the patnhers would lose so people would stop comparing the 00 ravens d with the 03 panthers. Once it got to wide-open offense, though, i was wanting the panthers to win. Too bad their secondary couldn't have covered William "the Refridgerator" Perry on a go route. (to be fair, neither could the pats)

Heartbreaker, but the game was better than many expected, the Panthers looked great and Delhomme really made a name for himself. Those two TD passes were some of the most perfect bombs I've ever seen. That game could have gone either way so easily...To see downtown Charlotte after the game you would have thought the Panthers won. Everybody was out in the streets, either on foot or cruising and honking, just celebrating that the Panthers got to the show and played so well. One thing they were NOT doing was flipping over other people's cars and destrong the town, chowdaheads! :D j/k can't judge the whole town on the actions of a few morons, right Denver? Oakland? Detroit?
