this is a pretty stupid question but i need it cleared up for mee please

i have 1990 240 with ka24e i want to get an apexi n1 exhaust but i dont know if the exhaust manifold sides are the same in the ka24de and mine because its hard to find one for a ka24e so basically will a ka24de exhaust work with a ka24e thanks.. and again i know its a stupid question but please answer...

the exhaust manifolds are not the same. you should be able to unbolt the the manifolds from the exhaust system.

uhhh i kinda dont understand what you mean..... u know the e.m in the sohc is on the right side of the car if you are facing the motor from infront of the car but dont both the de and e come to the same side like the path of the exhaust systems are the same.. and if they are not is there another way i can get that exhaust to fit and be right?

the exhaust path is the same. its just the DE manifold will not bolt up to your block. You should be able to unbolt the exhaust from the DE manifold and bolt it to yours.

it looks like you wanted to know if the flange on the apexi cat back will fit the flange on the header is that right. the cat back only bolts up to the cat and the cat bolts on to the header manifold. so yes it ill fit.
