I'm not quitting silviastore, I'm quitting the whole performance scene because I'm tired of the people it surrounds me with. Once you know enough people that own shops and are considered big shots, everyone just runs their mouth about everyone else. I got tired of the kind of people I was surrounded with. Silviastore will still open under the command of a friend on NICO forums thats getting into the scene, he's young still and hasn't been corrupted yet. As for those making remarks about me being a sailor and quitting, etc, please don't reply if you don't know what you'r talking about. I was pretty amazing (not in a good way) at the amount of people that started throwing insults. I don't want to directly do silviastore because it would require me to stay in contact with people I'd rather get away from. This whole thing had nothing to do with silviastore either, it was something that was building up for the last 2 years when I got into the scene and moved right on into the inner circle of ****s and **** talkers that is the "performance tuners".

no one said it was easy......i totally disagree about people talking **** about other peoples shops, i dont find that much at all, atleast at not on the major level. Even shops sponsor shops other cars, shops all hang out at events, and the track..i think its pretty petty at the smaller level, maybe within towns and stuff, put as far as the national level, what i have found through friends, and what i see out at events, is people pretty much get along....

i don't personally know anybody that owns any of the performance shops, but i agree with you jesse. whenever i've e-mailed a shop, and they don't have a part, they will refer you to another shop, and say that those guys are good guys and what not. Also a lot of sites will have links to other sites and they tell you to check them out. I don't know if i worded my response very well, but you guys get it.

well, what you see isn't always what you get. thats what im talking about. They act like buddies and it's all cool on the gravy train til you'r not around, then everyone runs their mouth. Like a certain shop at Gainesville was all chill chill using the other shops trailer and drinking beers and chillling like best friends, then the next day theyre talking **** about the peple that just let them use their trailer (no that wasn't me, just 2 shops I know), saying pretty nasty things about how they hate them and theyre a waste of space, etc, then the next day they go by their shop to pick up some parts and theyre best buddies again. Everyone I've ever been associated with in the scene does it. They just try to not do it in front of the general public, hence the reason most people don't notice it. It's all he said she said bs, and I don't want to be associated with it anymore. As for maineimport, I'm not going to get in it with you or waste my time insulting you, why you choose to randomly start crap with me is your own business, for all I know you'r gf cheated on you and her new bf beat your ***, but that's your personal life.

no, I don't get offended by criticism. The reason I keep retaliating is because people don't know what theyre talking about, they jump in when they're not aware of anything theyre replying about. once again, please read everything, like I said, they choose who to act like what in front of. If they're in front of a new customer or someone that hasn't been around for a while, they're not going to start talking. It's like a spouse or gf, are you going to tell them everythign in your life the first 5 minutes you know them? I personally wouldn't.

a chick i used to screw around with (privileged friends are the ****! i got me a keeper right now though) has one, thing breaks every 5 minutes. She'd be like "why don't you come over" and I'd be like "got **** to do and got to put my car back together (this was when I had a IROC Z, total POS that I wouldn't recommend to a sole), can you come get me?" and she'd be like "no, my car broke again". It's pathetic.

I've got the worst luck, I always buy **** piles for some reason. I buy a car and check it out or get it checked out. It's fine when I get it, but 2-3 months down the road, it starts falling apart.
