I HAVE BEEN DOING ALOT OF READING ON ALL THE FORUMS LATELY...WISH I HAD DONE IT 2 WEEKS AGO...I JUST BOUGHT THE BOOST DESIGNS (PJ'S) SHOP CAR...I PURCHASED A RUNNING DRIVEABLE VEHICLE AND GOT A PILE OF JUNK.I ALSO GOT STUCK WITH ANOTHER 400.00 BILL FOR SHIPPING WHICH I PAID HIM FOR UPFRONT. I HAVE READ WAY TOO MANY POST ABOUT PPL BEING SCAMMED BY BD. I THINK ITS TIME WE A GROUPED TOGETHER AND ADREESED THE SITUATION. I WOULD LIKE TO ORGANIZE SOMETHING TO TRY TO GET US ALL OUR MONEY BACK. LET ME KNOW WHO ALL HAS BEEN SCAMMED AND LETS GET SOMETHING DONE ABOUT IT. THANX D

p.s. sorry for all caps but man..this is just wrong!

the fuel rail dumped like 5 gals of fuel as sonn as i put a new battery in it and turned the key....pushed it to the garage and got it to quit leaking..fired it up and the thing wouldnt stay running to save its life..very noisy top end..then i noticed the oil slick under the car...lol..will it ever end..then i started checking everything..all the lines(ic) were loose..oil feed and return lines finger tight, the mtor was bouncing around in there like a jumping bean so i am assuming the mounts are junk, that "top secret" manifold of his is a load...he bolted the fpr right into it..no seals or nothing, just boled right into the side. the )2 sensor was cross threaded into the dp and the downpipe was totally loose. and all this after he had driven the car 50 or 60 miles he told me. yah right..bwaa haaa haaa....so now im in the process of putting the stock mani back on and trying to get this thing to run...any help on vacuum lines and what needs to go or stay on the stock mani would be great..he got his money and now will not answer any of my emails or phones about info on the car. thats the short version...lol..

Well this much I know, he works at http://www.atrperformance.com/.I would take a guess that the owners or managers do not know anything about BD. ATR has been around for a long time I don`t think they would want someone working at their company ripping people off. It might not hurt to pay a call to his company and talk with the owners of the company. You probably are going need to get an attorney to pursue this any further.I hope you can get this resolved.

I appreciate the info. believe me..he has already informed me that he has plenty of money and free military lawyer representation....so he is all more than ready to go to court. Honesty is the best policy in my opinion...he hasnt been honest one bit in my view...o well..ATR is who he is blaming for having to shut BD down..he says they are too slow and they are at fualt for the crappy stuff ppl are getting. it sucks for us all really...give the 240 scene a bad wrap. thanx for your reply though. good luck in all you do. I doubt he has plenty of money, cuz why else would he allow himself to run down his business if not for lack of $$?

Yep, according to ATR he's full of crap.

He forgets, I (and others) know people in the business.

I would recommend forwarding his comments badmouthing and blaming ATR to their management - I'm sure they'll be happy to see that.

There never was a "merger" (LIE).

His spouse is military, and BD was a side gig.

Just the statement "money and free lawyer" heavily implies his guilt. Next up - military lawyers WILL NOT interviene in civil claims. Like I said on Zilvia, if anyone deserves to get pounded in court, it's PJ. Get your own lawyer and get him. Most good lawyers are free until you win.. use that to your advantage.-Jeff

Well the newest news is that i have all my documentation on this whole deal and have given all of it to an attorney. We are due to meet tommorow on this case. Lets all hope and pray that BD will be brought to justice finally. I have also reported BD to the proper authorities who handle internet fraud. I hope we can all look forward to seeing the day when a mans word is his bond again. I would like to thank all the ppl who have supported me on this topic and are tired of this kind of misrepresentation as well. I feel that ppl like this should not be allowed to continue thier actions and cost other ppl their hard earned money.

Ah....

Well, I hate to see anyone lose their job.

But when you MISREPRESENT yourself, as in, "Boost Designs and ATR are MERGING", when in reality, you're just an employee of that company, that's just gay.

Did he say the motor was built in the car? Because from what I understand its a stock internal motor in that car.

I was told b y PJ that the mtor was brandnew and was built to the max. He told me once it was broken it (750 miles to 1000 miles) I could bouce it off the rev limiter every shift and not hurt it....bwaaaa haaaa haaa..I seriously doubt that.

You are correct on him no longer being at atr.ATR has a very nice fab shop. And they do timely work. I have also heard that BD is no longer a company.

Sorry to see this happen to you. Best thing to do is go see what you are going to purchase in person and be sure it is what you want ,or be able to handle if anything is needed to be done.

Again sorry to see this happen to a fellow 240 owner....
