I know some CA things are kind of rare, but there are some people who are taking advantage of new CAers who have not a clue as to what pricing should be. Pay attention folks and believe me, it's not this serious as this seller makes it seem. WOW :tisk:

I have bought a heap of parts of these guys for my current build and there prices have been very good (especially compared to Nissan Australia prices). Sure that has to be a typo when setting up the sale page. Did you call them to check. Or were you just browsing?

Is that for one? :lolling:

If anybody needs new squirters just let me know. I'll grab you some at cost if I have time. Don't let these f*** take advantage of you.

Now, please bid on my coffee can of vintage JDM bolts. :gapteeth:

I've actually been watching these auctions for quite some time and most of the pricing I've seen is just plain 'ol 'highway robbery' so-to-speak. I've seen some prices that were within a range and to be expected, but his prices are set to the point where you think the CA is special beast and that he has the only parts in the world for it. I'm surprised you guys in Aussie land buy from him, but that might explain the ranging of his prices in the fact that he's not targeting the low-budget/cheap-@ss crowd in North America, but those that are abroad and who find his pricing rather decent. I mean case and point, whose going to pay $700+US for a stock crank when you can get a crank around here for just over $200US with both main and rod bearings included. The prices of his oil pumps are within range, but most other things are just retarded; at least for us here in the U.S. Not trying cause a boycott or anything like that, but for the already cheap CAers in the U.S. , this could be a bigger deterence when compared to pricing parts for other engines, especially the SR.

If you read the finer print, it says it's actually for 4 squirters, but come on man, you're nearly close to purchasing another CA engine with that cost. :gotme

Maybe only the tightarses make the most noise

I can only recommend the place in question as for their availabilty and prices, not only those points, but also they went out of their way to source parts they didnt actually stock to combine with one of my orders.

As stated in one of my previous posts, he's prices is geared for those that are having a hard time finding parts; especially the international market. Again, it's not so much about being tight because lord know my inventory speaks for itself, but the fact that there are local businesses here in the U.S. that gives us here in the U.S. very manageable pricing. Even the dealer isn't that expensive. I can't see dumping $200+ on some d@mn aliminum nozzles called oil squirters when we can buy a CA18 complete for a few more U.S. $$$s. I personally don't need to shop around for parts because I can just about everything I need right in my hometown. I agree most CAers are tight, but I personally wouldn't spend that kind of money on such a down-the-middle part.

I know a few German guys who pay this guys prices as well but I think some of that has to do with the dollar vs euro exchange rate.

I haven't looked at all the prices yet, but I think these oil jets, and the crank are brand new stock OEM items. Straight from a dealership. At least If I do a Nissan dealership price lookup for the part numbers, it comes suspiciosly close. But I'm inclined to agree, that these items may indeed be meant for the poor guys outside the U.S. . You guys have a steady, endless, cheap(?) inflow of JDM goodness, but we don't, and I think we here in Europe are slowly drying up our CA resources, and running out of options. Just recently I needed a decent crank, I couldn't find one anywhere near me, had to buy one 'blind' from an SXOC member in the UK.

Aftermarket item prices look very similar to those of other sellers/shops.

An other example: The squirters (NOT bolt) costs over 100€ each here (132USD in todays exchange rate) thats for a singel one and the action he has is for FOUR !!! And if you not buy from him via ebay he usual gives a better price. But at the same time i understand that you thinks that is very expensive.
Sometimes i wish that i lived in the US and could buy cheap parts for the CA monster build.

And no i didn't buy new squirters since they are to expensive.
