From jgstools. I bought this for the turbo stuff, and I will probably have a chunk leftover. If I could use it for the oil pan, that would be awesome.

For sealing turbo/manifold/wastegate exhaust connections, apply and let sit for 1 hr then warm engine to set. Will not burn out, cleans up with water, black in color. 3 oz tube, perfect of turbos without gaskets available.

One tube will do several turbo sets![/quote]

Probably... or you could just use regular RTV silicone, which is most likely cheaper.

I have a tube of grey McKanica that I bought from Advance Auto Parts. I use it for alot of things and it worked really well for my oil pan.

i didnt do so well the first time i put silicone sealant so what i did was put the sealant around the edges of the oil pan where it was leaking. worked great and its not like its JB weld so i can still take off the oil pan, just enough seal to keep it from getting out..only minor drops

Guys Guys.. I had a leaky pan so I went to advanced auto parts and got the oil pan gasket thats new out for our cars . Its a corky kind of material. It worked like a wonder. I reccomend that over anything, considering we had RTV on it in the first place and it just leaked.. BTW, its $7.95 and its probably a 1 day wait if they don't already have it at the store. TOTALLY worth it.

Yea, just wanted to make sure I'd be able to take the oil pan out again later, haha.

I'm only using it because I already have this and using to seal up the flange on my turbo to the housing. Might as well use the rest for something.

Yeh we gave it liek 3 hours to cure... it was coming formt eh pan we discovered. But the gasket was worth it. Don't take the risk of the rtv being rubbed off when isntalling..
