Anyways I haven't found one on here so I figured I'd make one for us 240sx guys to share our random thoughts

To start it off finnaly got the car running and driving in time for it to be driven next event, have tires set aside, almost ready to pass tech... And of course my timing chain starts making noise... Fml lmao

fack da ka-de water pump. mine needs to be replaced due to leaking. are you supposed to use silicone plus the gasket it comes with?

Yes sir,..... I neec to replace mine before it goes, ive never seen a ka with 150k+ miles with the oe waterpump

figures...mines at 147,xxx right now. man fuc.. its 87 bucks at nissan and they dont stock it. so i gotta order. i guess i'm gona get the autozone water pump and save up to get the oem nissan one

My single cam has the oem one at 170,xxx,i dont know how...but as soon as i get another job i'm buying a timing chain and a waterpump asap

Do you daily your 240? I have a welded diff in my garage, but im still trying to decide if i want to put it in my 240. I daily my 240, and i want to get into drifting as well... is it worth it you think?

its worth it for drifting, dailying depends on your tolerance level of tire squeeling when you dont want to. ie(in the parking lot or slow turns at lights etc.) also eats alittle of the tires too making them faster.

I still don't understand why people insist on dailying a welded diff. It takes like 30 mins to swap the diff before an event. OH WELL.

On a side note, I ATE SO MANY CRuNCH PEBBLES THIS MORNING LAWLZ

Like said above good for drifting but as far as dailying think of it this way, it's like tying your shoelaces together and trying to run.. It just doesn't work. My 240 is my daily but aside from a short drive to work I drive my girls car everywhere (08sonata)

However people's looks in parking lots when your turning and your tires are chirping away are priceless

Oh it works, you can daily drive on a welded all day if you're not a stupid driver. Its just not necessary to do so and it eats through tires.

try walking around all day with your shoelaces tied together,garunteed it works but the end result is...
well painful. that statement just is a way to relate how it in general abuses everything,your drivetrain tires and even your motor,its not good for any of it.

and yes it does eat tires especialy when you cant stop poping the clutch
