Browsing around some forum today, the one where s14 was talking about the street racing, I came across another thread that was entitle "Shift from Honda to Nissan" and when I clicked it, I sat there, dumbfounded for what the post contained, here are the exact words from the topic poster:

I know he meant the bandwagon jump, cause ever ricer that seen F&F and had even opened the lastest issues of superstreet and other have been influenced to want to get a SR. But what iritates me the most is he compared the SR to a B16 honda motor, a honda motor, a OVERRATED P.O.S honda motor. In my humble opinion I believe someone that compares a good engine to that low on the podem deserves to shot. The SR is more then overrated, it is locked potential waiting to be released, but only in the right hands. I still here dumbfounded as trying to find a calm way to respond back to his ignorance.

If you can back up your statement about the b16a being a POS motor with actual fact, i'll actually maybe hold your opinion valid.A lot of 240sx owners are going to have to deal with the fact that every idiot kid that wants an import, but decides against a honda is either going to get a Nissan or a DSM.Dont believe me? The saddest thing is they actually think that they are drifting. I'm sorry, but driving 10mph in a hosed down parking lot with McD's trays under your rear wheels doesn't constitute as a drift. 2. An SR20DET should never be compared to a B16, even for the sake of popularity reasons. Because as MaineImport has consistantly said (I think it was Maine)...the production numbers for the 240 will simply not constitute it being the next Civic.
3.89sx is correct, I'd never pick an S13 with a swap for "cheap power", there is at least one cheaper Nissan to be had that can make more power(probably a bunch more).
4 POGS were the motherf**kingsh*t, I don't care what anyone says.
5. The kids in the videos on Wangan Midnight actually go out to drift a lot, don't compare them to what Matt was saying. I didn't say they were great or anything, but they are a very knowledgable bunch of kids. (Look at the second video, the S14 drifts the whole lot.) 240sx to a civic???? no comparison. PEOPLE, they stopped making the 240sx. there's not enough 240s around (compared to civics) to start a "240 Fad". Just because 240sx's are starting to make it into the magazines (and we all know that 240sx's are WAY better cars than civics) doesn't mean every ricer is gonna have one. a civic is the universal car of the millenium and will always be. man, this is a waste of my time....i'm starting to ramble about B.S.
