So I just picked up my third Z32. My tt build was taking to long and I miss my old one that I sold. So here is my new project.

1990 n/a auto with 155xxx miles
Transmission is blown so I was able to pick her up for $850. She is in rough shape but I still see the potential in it. Motor runs strong but im not sure how emissions is going to go.
Interior is worn but not bad. Missing a radio and doesn't have a full key slot on the ignition. Just the turn piece on the bottom.
Body doesn't have to many issues but paint looks like it was done with a spray can.

First order of business is swapping the auto trans for a manual. Then getting rid of this stupid Bra.

Good luck this time! Does the car have any maintenance history?

I smell an addict! LOL!

Congrats on the new Z!

I've got a bra on my Z, but thats cause the front is pretty messed up. If/when I get the car repainted I'm going to get a new front bumper cover too, and then I can get rid of my bra too. I will feel so liberated! LOL.

Yeah my front was apparently wrecked so I'm going to have to do some work on mine too in order to get the bra off

Same here... and the replacement bumper cover was apparently a used red one, and they painted it with a blue paint that didn't quite match. Red spots were all over it where the blue had chipped or just didn't cover.

I plasti dipped it black, but that didn't look right either, so I put the bra back on.

As for myself, I have always been a fan of the bra-less look in all matters.

Speaking of which ... what the hell happened to the Z's and girls thread? I miss that thread. It's almost as good as the Craigslist thread.

Alrighty. I know this has taken forever, but I finally got my car from work to my house. So I'll be able to finally drop the transmission. Already pulled the dash and installed the clutch pedal and brake pedal. Hopefully the clutch and flywheel I have will be good

Sorry I haven't been big on the pics with this one. It's really just a very basic 300zx right now. And I figured pixies of a before and after pedal swap wasn't really worth it. Once I get it moving i will start getting more pictures

I will give you a little nugget of the anti-progress I've made with my tt. Everything is off. Now I just need the money for parts

So I was pulling the exhaust off and I realized that it is very very custom work. Like seriously. Looks just like chain link fence post. I guess I'll see the result when I have to get emissions.

Everything is good so far. Still have to finish wiring up the back up sensor. And reinstall the exhaust. But that's about it for now.

Yup. Got it wired up last night (have to swap the 2 wires on the reverse sensor) heat shield, and exhaust are on. Interior trim panels put back together. Now it needs a battery and emissions and it should be good to get a tag. Then ill need an alignment.

So i have a running z for only $1300
Z-$850
1 piece driveshaft- $320
Master cylinder, SS clutch line, slave cylinder- roughly $80-90

To bad it's about a week to late to get it up to znationals. Looks like i have to take the Celica.

But thats all ive got for now. :)
