Is there a major difference between 2002 Nissan Altima Automatic transmission Gear and 2004/2005 Nissan Altima Automatic power transmission Gear?
I presume the transmission gears for 2004/2005 models should be able to interface and work with 2002 QR 25 Engine models. Please I want the experts to explain the differences if there are any.

I can't recall if the 3rd generation Altima updated its transmission at any point during its lifecycle, however, the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder versions do NOT use the same transmission, so whichever parts you get, make sure they match the transmission for the 2.5s.

The third generation Altima spans from 2002-2006.
