third brake light?

I've got a 95 240 SE w/spoiler. I have searched, even looked in my fsm but can't seem to find info in how to get the darn thing out. Looking at it is even more confusing.... Anybody that could help would be appreciated. Thnx guys.

unbolt the nuts that hold it on it either 2 or 4 bolt cant remember. then just pull and try not to crack your lens. it is held on by that black super sticky stuff so i recommend you heat it up. you can use a hair dryer or a heat gun but be careful not to melt you brake light housing with the heat gun

Ahhh, so this will require some finess. I have access to a heat gun at work so that might help. I will try and report back. Thanks for your help.

i just removed on from a 96 junkyard car and it sat out for 3 years before i got to it and took me pulling from the inside and another guy pushing from outside... heat gun was not an option for that one but Gl with yours
