I've owned two and never had any failures of any kind. Either trim level would be worth your time, and a joy to drive (especially aggressive driving).

This is an Infiniti M enthusiast forum. In other words, we love our M's. So, I love mine. I have an M35x; great up North here in the snow. Great machines-but they are luxury sport machines and hence if they need work it will cost. Also they love to guzzle gas.

Know what you are getting into. If you can afford it-go for it!!

I've had both and Love my M's.... 07 M35 and 08 M45S! Both ADV. TECH(a must). Can't say enough south these cars. Regular package will have wood grain dash and door panels. 18" wheels, softer ride, Sport will have carbon fiber dash and door panels... Aluminum trim, 19" wheels, rear active stear, no Tan leather option [usually graphite (black) or stone(grey)], most wheel have body lip kit (ground effects).

Both GREAT choices but most of us like the details on the Sport! Good luck on your search and remember... ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY package! 14 spkr Bose sound system, DVD, ICC Intelligent Cruise, LDW lane departure warning system, AFS adaptive front lighting system.... Above all the other great things these cats come with. Dealers and people tend to advertise FULLY LOADED but make sure it actually is!! :dblthumb:

Some of the M's will experience oil consumption, suspension noises, wheeling bearing failure and a few other mechanical issues.

I've only heard of the M45 consuming oil. The OP is asking specifically about the M35. Never had issues with the motor in the 35.

I would buy it from you. But the problem is I still have to get rid off her 03 TL 1st.

Actually, now that I think of it, there is a very major problem; the tires & tramlining. The right tires & there's no problem. But w/the wrong tires, "major" is downgrading the problem.

The M35 along with the G35/37 experience oil consumption issues as well. Oil consumption is actually an issue across the Infiniti line.

I had tramlining with my new M - but after I told the alignment guy to add some toe it went away. I wouldn't consider this a "show stopper" issue... compared to the way Hondas eat transmissions.

Actually, the only issue I can think of is the seat rocking. Pisses me off to no end!!! But this could be covered by making sure the adjuster had been replaced by the previous owner, or buying a car still under warranty.

What is the solution for "oil consumption"? New engine?
