I dont really know much about them, but I have always wanted one. lol.

I found a silver one with black leather, sunroof, loaded, with 70k on it.

Is there anything I should look for ?

Also, I have'nt looked around yet, but does anyone make a nice exhaust and lowering springs for the sedan ?

Thanks.

Did you check thru the FAQ's?http://forums.g35club.org/zerothread/323283

I've owned 2 05 G Sedans and loved them.Traded one for a 04 Coupe recently.

I would suggest getting a CARFAX subscription!!!

Budget is like 15kish.

Year, im guessing 02-03 ish, idk what year they changed up the body style.

And it has to have black leather and be a sedan, that ****s hot.

they started in 2003. i think you could easily get a G for that money. just be aware of factors like parts/servicing costs as they are higher than the comparable nissan. other than that, they are fantastic cars.

Yea, I just read that link up there, so im looking for an 03-04.

The one I found is nice as hell.

It has bose stereo and it clean, just the headlights are alittle bit fogged up or somthing.

But im serioulsy thinking of throwing the 240 up forsale so I can get it.

Lowered, tint, exhaust is all it needs to look good, and the 240 is just to much of a money pit/problem.

Only thing was "issue " with 03-04 is the head unit, brake dust and some oil consumption. Just a few people nothing major I'd say.

I am a family guy.

I'd really like a sedan cause I can haul people unlike the 240. lol

We have to take 2 cars where ever we go so its a pain, plus I love the way they look.

The video on youtube of the slammed white one got me set.

The early 03s had the ugly trunk handle that nobody likes.

The 5at (auto) 03/04 (not 04.5) had the belt driven radiator fan. The 6mt sedans, all the coupes, and the 04.5+ 5at sedans had an electrical radiator fan.

The interior was upgraded in 05. Some don't care about the different look. Some abhore the old one.

The oil consumtion issue has been seen on a few first gen sedans, but I think it's most prominent on the 05-07 VQ35DE rev-ups.

03-04 seemed to have more annoying issues than 05+ (ie, short brake life, bose system dies...etc).

IIRC, the VLSD was NOT offered on the 03 Sedan.

Thanks guys, yall are alot of help.

The interior in the 03 I looked at was amazing, black leather is so hot.

The only thing im not fond of is the spoiler, and those things are mad 4x4 from factory.

Im getting ready to go out today to look at more.

If that day comes, I'm dumping mine and finding something else. Otherwise, I plan on keeping it until it dies or I get too bored after 250K miles.

If you get the the first gen then I recommend looking at my sig and getting my mods . You Will be happy.

As for my plenium you can either get that or get a spacer. Both work well just I feel that the kinetix plenum runs at a much cooler temp.

Wow, Im glad I saw this before I went to bed!

You need to get an 05+ you will be so much happier! Trust me

Teflon will tell you that he has the retard step sister of the G35 gang!

I would Get an MT they are a little cheaper for them! Harder to find but they come with sport wheels and suspension!

If you get an auto the 05+ are 280hp the 03-04 are 260...

If you get an 05+ 6mt you get the 298hp motor as well as a higher rpm red line (7300) vs 6700 of the regular autos

Put on a coupe mid pipe and an intake and you wil have 305- 310hp easy!

The 6mt also can get you over 28 mpg on the highway at 65-75 mph! I get it all the time on trips (with the air on)

Let me post some pics of mine up... Everyone knows what a Photo whore I am

Good luck with what ever you decide!

You also get lots of upgrades on the interior Gagues, Dash, Radio and A/C controls, Memory seats, Blue tooth

Its super nice but waaaayy out of my price range, I have found another one today.

Like 13.5k, clean as hell. Sport, tan leather, silver and it doesnt have a spoiler so thats a plus.

But it has 85k so imma pass on it.

Have you ever drove a G35 ?

How would you compare it towards your maxima ?

Im not really set on what kind of car to get yet, i'd really like a G, but its kinda pricey.

I know im keeping it in the nissan family so idk.

Ive also been looking at 3.5 altimas, pretty much the FWD version of the G. lol

Just all the damn cars need huge drops from the factory lol.
