I'm thinking of doing some light parting out of the s14 and trying to sell it. I'm putting too much into this car, I need to quit and start saving some money, just because. I want to move out soon (still live w/ parents) and I dont want some junk apartment, therefore I'll need money for that, I'm in school full-time, full-time girlfriend, etc. So, I want to sell my s14 (i've owned it since I was 15, 19 now, my first car) and get something else. I was thinking a 5spd maxima. That would be a car I'm not as tempted to do as much work to. I would tint the windows, put a suspension on it, wheels, underdrive pulley, y-pipe, catback, intake, and that would about do it. With the 240 i'm in the process of building a ka for turbo (not real far in the build, might finish building it to stock and put it in the car). So what are your opinions on a replacement for the 240? Or should I even sell the car at all? Shoudl I finish building the motor, turbo it, then after all this start saving? Opinions!

I'm not kidding, I love my car but it is just taking my money away. I need to grow up and just be able to deal with it I guess...

Sometimes you have to sell it. You can always buy another 240 down the road, it won't ever be the same one though. I have a 5-speed maxima for sale too. Good luck.

if you need money, just sell you s14 and buy a s13 and try and hold yourslef from modding it too much.

I'm in the same boat you are. Im tired of spending all my money on my 240. And im getting a house this summer and i need to stop spending money on the 240. I have a civic for a daily driver but I would never be able to just own that. The more i think about it, I think I will eventually just sell my turbo and everything on my 240 and convert the motor back to stock. Then i will sell the civic and use my 240 as my daily driver. I would leave the turbo on but its just not reliable enough for me and i'm always having to work on it. This way I will have a good looking reliable car that i can still autocross, since thats all i do anymore. Its just going to suck so bad lossing over 100hp.
