Hey guys after being a Q 45 owner four years I've decided to sell my baby. She was having some problems I couple years ago and I parked it. I pulled it out and got it running now. He runs a little rough but I think it's from sitting up and having Olgas and it. Once I run in a while and get some BG 40 4K Through the fuel system I expected to clear up I done a lot of work to it and I hate to sell it because I love it so much but it just doesn't make sense. I've got six cars and this is the oldest and highest miles.

The body is straight never been wrecked, interior is in fabulous shape, only has 150,000 miles, I have redone the entire suspension including brand-new Michelin tires, shocks, struts, bushings, etc. Ive changed fluids regularly running synthetic. It's been kept up to Nico standards which are pretty high! I've changed all the pulleys and belts and spark plugs, Kept the mass airflow sensor cleaning and a bunch of normal things like that.

So what's a good Q45 all original go for these days?

Sad to say, but not much. Maybe $3500-4000 if it's in really nice shape.

What's the low down on the transmission?
Have the under-plenum hoses ever been changed?

Transmission shifts great. In fact Jeff Williams commented on how well it shifted. Under plenum hoses is on my to do list, but hasn't been done. If I did the hoses, injectors and such I'd have to keep it.

I'll try and get some pics this weekend. It needs a bath.

Well given you just said that it doesn't run well 3500 is probably max you will get. Get it running smoother and you might get 4k but that would be the most you could expect.

I was thinking more like 3K without any serious operating issues.

Alabamadan,

My apologies for being off-topic here. I can't contact you directly due to not having a high enough post count.
I'm doing some service and diagnosis on my '92 and I saw your post here: post6760776.html which was locked.
I'd like to see if you still have the ECU available and if the display still works on the Air Control unit.

Thanks,
-C

Climate controller display is an easy fix if it's the usual failure and you're handy with a soldering iron.
